My Mother – In all her beauty and {im}perfection

The most gentle woman that I know, is the one who brought me into this world. Her kindness and compassion defies words. She is the one who taught me what love is. Unconditional. Selfless. Fearless. Not to be questioned, but to be felt by the heart. She has a beautiful story. One of strength, compassion and forgiveness. She is the perfect balance of strength and fragility. The perfect role model. Incredibly honest. Selfless. A beautiful Mother. She has a wisdom that runs through her. So modestly, I wonder if she knows. We took these pictures on a magical afternoon whilst holidaying as a family. The wind was invigorating. The water, energising. The light, gentle and warm, just like my Mumma. I wanted her to feel beautiful. In her skin, her natural state. Imperfectly perfect. I think she did.
