The enterprise agreement expires on April 4, 2019 and has an expiry date of October 31, 2021. While the awards are presented by the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC), agreements are negotiated by Queensland Health and Queensland Health staff representatives. After the agreement of the staff members covered by the proposed agreement (as part of a voting procedure), the agreements are certified by the QIRC. The agreement applies to all registered nurses and midwives, registered nurses and nursing assistants employed in the ACT Public Service. Primary employment conditions for the majority of Queensland Health employees are imposed by bonuses and agreements. The agreement applies to all physicians employed by the Public Health Directorate and Calvary Public Health Care ACT Inc. (this does not include guest physicians).
